                                                                               Shelly Schrimpf-Wells

Shelly began her dance career at the early age of 5 in Kansas City under the instruction of Dolly Arden at Dolly Arden’s School of Dance.

Her family soon moved from Kansas City to Jefferson City, where she continued to study dance throughout her school age years.

Modern dance became Shelly’s favorite style, and her emphasis.

During college, she had exposure to new choreography, many dance performances and trips to the American College Dance festivals where choreography received honors from adjudicators.

Teaching was her choice and she moved back to open Steps Dance Studio with her family in 1994.

Throughout her 24 years of teaching, she continued and expanded her education by becoming certified in Pilates through the Stott Pilates program.

She now is a certified instructor and shares her knowledge of the exercise program with dance students and private clients through their Steps Pilates Studio.

Shelly is proud of her choice to become an instructor and realizes the importance of educating young people. Her instructors throughout her education made such an impact, that she wishes to give her students the same education.

It is her dream that her students learn the respect for dance, have the love for dance, and truly experience the joy of moving!  Visit our Pilates website at www.stepspilatesstudio.com to learn more about our Pilates program.

 Stacy Schrimpf

Stacy continued the family tradition by starting to dance at the age of 5.

Stacy attended college level dance courses while in high school, and attended summer dance programs with the Missouri State Ballet, Springfield Ballet and Milwaukee Ballet.

In 1994, Stacy, along with her sister Shelly, opened STEPS Dance Studio in Osage Beach.

Throughout the years with STEPS, she has choreographed for local theatre productions and community events.

Along with Shelly, she created the competition dance company Stages, and has choreographed winning competition dances that have been performed in Chicago, Kansas City and St. Louis.

The most recent addition to Stacy’s resume has been in the capacity of Stott Certified Pilates instructor. She received training in Chicago, and has opened a fully equipped Pilates studio (Steps Pilates Studio) in Osage Beach.  Visit our Pilates website at www.stepspilatesstudio.com to learn more about our Pilates program.

*Best studio in the lake area! Wonderful women who not only teach beautiful dance, but help young men and women have poise and self worth.

*If you want your daughter to receive classical ballet training, along with modern, jazz, tap, & more - all with a disciplined approach that builds upon her learning the important basics & fundamentals... go with the professionals at Steps Dance Studio
Our 11 yr-old daughter attends Steps (since age 3) and she absolutely loves the smaller classes, the one-on-one time she gets with the instructors, & the little intangible extras there.
Your young dancer will have numerous opportunities to perform, such as the annual "The Nutcracker" (in its 19th year) every Nov at School of the Osage's theater, plus a Spring Recital every May/Jun, lots of Summer Camps in conjunction with the Creative Arts Center, Improv classes and more!
Our daughter has also participated the last few years in their Competition Group called STAGES where they travel to St. Louis, Kansas City, & Colubmia to compete & and learn exciting new things - great experience for them!
Please talk with their talented instructors (Stacy Schrimpf and Shelly Schrimpf Wells) before u make your final decision on a Dance Studio - they would love the chance to help your daughter reach her full potential (and have fun doing it).
Thanks!

*Very structured setting. We are so excited for my daughter to start her dance journey here!

*My 3 yr old daughter absolutely loves Miss Stacy & Shelley (that's what she calls them). They have taught her so much & really know how to work with little ones. She was enrolled for her first session this spring & did the Fairytale Workshop this summer. She already knows her positions & the different types of tutus. She cannot wait for fall classes! Thank you for teaching her the true art of dance!

*We drive almost an hour every week for my daughters classes, the staff is fantastic! All our recitals have been amazing and given me tears every time.

We love our steps family!

*Highly professional! The recitals are the best I've seen and the teachers truly love dance and take the time with each student. It's a very special place!

*We are a second generation STEPS family. I danced with them and now my daughter is! The family that owns/runs the studio teaches perfectly to each age level. Madilynn loves to show me everything that Ms. Shelley has taught her in first class!

*I love watching my granddaughter perform there! Their shows are great!

*Steps is incredible! Our daughter danced there for 15 years!

*My daughter started at STEPS in Osage Beach right after her 2nd birthday. We love it there. This year they'll be performing with Cinderella in the Disney musical recital in June. And the Disney Tea Party is coming up in March. They perform the Nutcracker every Fall and have a different theme for the Summer performance each year. It costs a little more...but I think it's worth it. It's a ballet-based school, so they begin learning the ballet basics right at age 2.

My daughter loves it.
